After a superb performance in the younger age group at the football trial with UKFT in April, Jack Allen was selected by Head of Player Placement Tony Awor and put straight in for a 6 week trial with the Premier League Club. Jack showed excellent technical ability, was confident off both feet and did the basics consistently, accurately and at a high tempo.

Jacks father Michael describes his experience so far with Norwich “Jack was nervous going to his first Norwich training session. The coaching staff upon arrival were very professional and Jack enjoyed the session from the warm up to the end. The players were all a good standard, passing quickly and chasing the ball if they lost it. Jack knows he has to listen and learn from every training session. He realises that the standard of football is a lot higher here.” We asked how Jack found the UKFT trial too: “Jack was quite reserved going to the trial at UKFT not knowing what to expect. Upon arrival the staff made him and the other players feel relaxed. He enjoyed the session even though he felt slightly under pressure to perform with other players that he did not know. Jack came away happy from the trail with his own performance and thought it was a good experience regardless of the outcome.” We congratulate Jack and will keep you posted on his progress!
