UK Football Trials Coach Secures Scouting Role with Premier League Champions
A UK Football Trials coach has signed for this season's Premier League Champions Leicester City, where he will be working as a scout.
Ashleigh Hopkins, who holds a UEFA A-Licence Coaching Badge, will begin searching for talent for the Midlands club immediately, starting at our trials next week.
The former Swansea and Bristol Rovers coach will be working at a number of our UK-wide events next week, where he will not only be delivering a pro academy coaching/assessment session, but also keeping an eye out for any players who are ready to join the likes of Vardy and Mahrez at The King Power.
"It's an honour to be working with the 2015/16 Premier League Champions," said Ashleigh, "I'm looking forward to coaching and scouting players at the UK Football Trials events over the coming weeks and months."
Ashleigh, who spent time as a player with Swansea City, will also be travelling with the UK Football Trials team later in the year, when we host trials in Brisbane, Australia.
