Evison Goes on Trial with 2 Pro Clubs
Evison Rramani, 13, has been in on trial at Blackpool and Accrington Stanley after being scouted at our event in August…
The centre-midfielder impressed numerous clubs at our trial in Manchester back in August, although arranging a trial proved difficult as he headed back home to Ireland.
After monitoring his situation for several months both Accrington and Blackpool, who are currently in League 2, took the opportunity to invite him in for a trial when he returned to England in November.
Evison’s Dad, Enis, revealed that the talented youngster enjoyed his time with both clubs and described it as a “fantastic experience.”
“Everyone was very friendly and supportive, the coaches were good with him and encouraged him a lot,” said Enis.
“Enis was very happy with both trials and he did quite well, I think he definitely improved as time went on and he settled in.”
He added: “Without UK Football Trials this would never have happened. It’s a very good platform and they’ve supported us the whole way – they’ve opened the door for us.”
The midfielder impressed at both trials and in fact did so well at Blackpool that they have asked to see him again the next time he is over in England and have requested some fixtures to watch.
Dave Howarth, Head of Recruitment at Blackpool FC, said: “The coaches definitely liked Evison. His balance, awareness, ball control and positioning was good.
He added: “He very quickly adapted to the training sessions and certainly did not look out of place.
“One area to concentrate on is his ability to play one and two touch football. Definitely provide some fixtures and I will ask our scouts in Ireland to watch.”
Meanwhile at Accrington, Academy Head of Recruitment David Bailey also said that the feedback from the coaches was positive and also enquired as to when he will be back in England.
