Former Manchester United trialist Elliott Fenton was scouted at our 5 Day Camp in April and is now training with a pro club…

Elliott, 15, can play as a striker or an attacking midfielder and already has a wealth of experience in the game despite his young age.

He signed with Bury FC aged 12 and more recently has had trials with Manchester United and received an offer to go pro in the National Futsal League North for next season.

The promising youngster attended our 5 Day Training and Trials Camp last month at Ardingly College, where he spent four days preparing with professional coaches, working on nutrition, strength and conditioning, speed and agility and psychology, all building up to the final day where he played in front of scouts from the Premier League through to semi-pro level.

On the day, Elliot put in an impressive performance scoring two goals and creating another, doing enough to receive interest from four clubs.

After receiving a referral from one of the UK Football Trials coaches at the camp, Accrington Stanley invited Elliott in for a trial.

“He started last Wednesday training with the u16’s and is training four times a week at the moment,” said Elliott’s Dad, John.

He added: “It’s going well at the moment, his first touch in the game he nut-megged two players and the coach was impressed - I think he’ll be in for another week or so before a decision is made on if they want to keep him in.”

Elliott also has an offer of a trial from another club in League One and his future looks set to be decided in the coming weeks.
