Adelowo Featured in Dorchester Town Match-day Squad
The former Billericay and Hayes and Yeading defender was brought to the attention of First Team Manager Steve Thompson after another Dorchester defender was recalled by his parent club.
Within hours the transfer had been completed and Gabby was preparing to join up with his new teammates away at Basingstoke in the Southern League Premier Division.
Speaking about the opportunity, Gabby said: ‘I’d like to first thank UK Football trials for taking care of me, I regard them as family not just a group of people that get me to clubs.
"They actually care and make sure you’re alright off the pitch, I’m truly grateful for them. Signing for Dorchester Town FC is a great new experience for me after playing in the Bostik Premier League for my last club Billericay Town FC.
"It was a cold, late night off up to Basingstoke and joining in with the lads was great, they were very welcoming and Steve the manager was also very nice. I'm happy to have joined Dorchester thanks to UK Football Trials, as for the future I hope we go on a great FA trophy run and finish in a great position in the league."
First Team Manager Steve Thompson added: "Gabby did well at the trial when I coached him back in July, and he did very well to make the squad against Basingstoke without having any training with the team before hand.
"I was impressed with his character and athleticism."
