Leroy Scores for Leyton Orient
[29/06/18] Promising youngster Leroy Lewis attended our trial back in October and was scouted by Conference side Leyton Orient.
The club managed to get the testing Christmas fixtures out of the way and contacted Leroy's parents back in January where he was invited to play for the U14's in a trial game at the back end of that month. During the game, Leroy scored!
When we caught up with Leroy's Mum, Anternette, she told us that the club had been in touch recently to ask if Leroy could come again back for training with a view to signing for the academy.
She said: "They told us that they really liked him and that they will get him back in to play for them again."
"Leroy thought the UK Football Trial at QPR's training ground was excellent and very challenging. It taught him a lot in that short period.
Anternette continued: "His Father and I were both at the trial and we delighted with how friendly it was, Harry came around and greeted us and at the end the feedback sheet communicated well on Leroy's progress and what he needed to improve on."
As always, we wish Leroy the very best of luck and we are keen to hear how he gets on over the next year!
