Goalkeeper Oliver Pincott is on trial for Premier League side Wolves after being scouted from our event.
Oliver, 12, attended our trial in August at QPR’s training ground and was picked up by one of the scouts on the sidelines.
Natalie, Oliver’s mum, described his trial at Wolves as a “really good experience.”
“It lasted for six weeks and they had a few ‘keepers there at the same time as Oliver,” said Natalie.
“Then at the end of the six weeks they said they were going to release a lot of the players but they kept Oliver on until Christmas.
“He loves it and they’ve said that he’s getting on well and they’re impressed with him.”
The trial at Wolves represents Oliver’s first trial with a pro club and a huge step up in class, having played for his local side for the last seven years.
Natalie said: “For the first couple of weeks he was quite nervous but it’s really done him a favour and boosted his confidence, he’s fine now.
“Oliver has been playing in a few games against other local teams and one against Crystal Palace, so that’s all been a new experience for him as well.”
Wolves will keep Oliver on trial until Christmas when a decision will be made on his future.
Everyone at UK Football Trials would like to wish him good luck for the remainder of his trial.
