Omar Scores One and Assists Three For Wolves
Omar Alseadi scored one and assisted three in his trial game for Wolves earlier this month.
The 13-year-old winger was one of the stand out players at our trial in October, held at QPR’s Training Ground.
A mesmerising performance resulted in four clubs requesting Omar’s details but it was Premier League new boys Wolves who cemented their interest with the offer of a trial, Omar’s uncle Hekmat explained.
“Wolves called us and said they wanted to see him again, so he went down for some trial,” said Hekmat.
“They liked him a lot and told us they’d like to invite him back.”
During his trial match against another academy side, Omar took the headlines as he scored one and made three more, but Wolves may have to act fast if they want to secure the trialist long term, with other clubs also circling.
Southampton have already made contact with Omar’s family after seeing him at our trials, while Reading and West Ham are also admirers.
Football runs in the veins of the aspiring young midfielder – who had trials for QPR four years ago – with his father having played as a professional in Iraq.
Hekmat said: “This was Omar’s first UK Football Trial and he loved the experience.
“We’re just hoping we can get something out of it in terms of signing for a team.”
UK Football Trials would like to congratulate Omar on securing a trial for Wolves and will continue to monitor his situation over the coming months.
