August Trials - Amazing Success
The UK Football Trials team have returned to the office after a UK tour traveling over 2,100 miles for the last two weeks, in search of undiscovered talent. 641 players have had the opportunity to impress scouts from International Level, Premier League, SPL, Championship, League 1, League 2 and semi pro football across the UK this summer. Decisions are sent out via email on September 5th and scouted players will be called on the phone.
Players from London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Scotland, Wales and Plymouth have all undergone a pro club trial experience, and we are delighted to say that more than 69 players have had their details taken for 01 pro and semi pro club opportunities! UK Football Trials director Harry Price described the trials as a “huge success with players aged 10-26 gettng scouted” saying: “We feel as a team that the trials we held this summer were one of the best sets we’ve seen since the company started four years ago,” he said. “The standard was incredible all over the UK and that’s proved by the extraordinary interest we’ve had from scouts.
The players deserve a congratulations for their efforts and the parents for taking the time come along too.” He added: "So far, we have more than 1 in 10 players scouted from this August trial set which is astonishing. Whilst our system continues to be incredibly effective for players and clubs, we are already working hard on improvements to our system for October and it is important that players understand that if they are not signed to a club, they can trial and sign for a club at any time of the year!" October trials are on sale now in Scotland London, Birmingham and Manchester and are currently discounted by up to £30 for any early bookers!
