Luiz Gustavo - From Sao Paulo Brazil to The Premier League?
Standing at 6ft 2' at just 14-years-old, he received interest from a number of scouts on the day - including a Premier League club - and has a trial pending with a League One club. Luiz Gustavo plays primarily as a centre midfielder or centre back and impressed clubs on the day with his strength, technical and aerial ability. Former Man United scout David Hobson said: "He's got good ability, is physically developed and has good feet for his size." Before moving to England earlier this year, Luiz Gustavo was contacted by Brazilian giants Internacional and Sao Paulo. Unfortunately he had to decline the opportunities due to his imminent move abroad, but he now harbours hopes of making it in the UK and took his first step by attending a UK Football Trial in October. Mum, Fernanda, said: "He loved it, he's already said to me he wants to come back if he can't find a club this time around. We were approached by pro clubs on the day and they spoke to us openly which was great. The feedback offered on his game was brilliant and I've already recommended it to friends."
