Nnamdi Nwachuku, who plays as a forward, was spotted by several clubs at our West London trial in April, after being released by Colchester earlier in the year. He will go in for a trial match with Cheltenham Town FC next week, who play in the Football League 2. "I’ve always been a good dribbler, pacey and strong. One of my best attributes is my trickery, my ability to beat a man," he said. Nnamdi, who spent several years in the Reading Academy, has also attracted interest from other pro and semi pro clubs in the area. Speaking about his training routine, he said: "I go to the gym in the morning, working on my upper body and core strength. I also do two 30 minute runs a day, followed by a swim – I do this every day because I know how important my fitness is to my game." Ahead of his trial with Cheltenham next week, we asked Nnamdi about his experience with UK Football Trials. "The trial was really professional, the coaches were great with everything from the warm up and the technical work to the games at the end. It was well planned, enjoyable and the quality of football was high. "If you are a player without a club to go to, I would definitely recommend you to go with UK Football Trials. After attending I can say that it was genuine, honest and they have put me in touch with pro and semi pro clubs."
