Robert Otieno, Aged 17, Trial with Accrington Stanley
Many congratulations to Robert who trains for the second time tonight with pro club Accrington Stanley following his trial with UK Football Trials in February.
Robert, 17, is currently signed on to the Football and Education School "Edukick Manchester," an exclusive partner of UK Football Trials. At his trial in Manchester, he displayed good all round ability on his trial, demonstrating great tackling and passing, whilst taking particular pride in his technical ability. In order to stay in shape and to keep improving his fitness, Robert puts in 10 hours of practice a week aside from matches, whether that be skills or gym work.
Speaking about his experience with UK Football Trials, Robert said: "I enjoyed the day and it was a good experience for me, because I now have an opportunity to train with a League 2 Pro Club directly through the trial. I would definitely recommend UK Football Trials to other players because they give you the opportunity to showcase your ability and at their trials you'll always have someone watching you."
