Zak Gee, Aged 13, Secures Watford Trial
UK Football Trials are delighted to announce that Zak Gee, 13, has been invited to a 4-6 week trial with Championship side Watford FC. Spotted at our QPR trial in February, Zak demonstrated the ability to play well in a number of positions, but his defending, tackling and aerial ability stood out in Centre Back, as well as the technique required to strike a powerful free kick.
Zak trains once a week with his local side Sangate FC and plays matches on the weekends. Other training each week includes two sessions with a local soccer school and a regular session with Arsenal's Pre Advanced Academy. Speaking about Zak's trial with us, his mum, Linda, said "The trial was brilliant, Zak and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. He learnt a lot through the coaches there and picked up a lot from what they said. "I’d definitely recommend UK Football Trials to other parents and younger players who aren’t sure where to go next, 100%. They were brilliant for us."
