Demetris Demetriou, Aged 16, 3 Premier League Clubs Offer Cyprus GK Trial
UK Football Trials are delighted to announce that one of our players has undergone trials with Hull City, Everton and Manchester City. Demetris Demetriou, 16, who was spotted at our trial last year, has since taken up invitations to trial and train with the three Premier League clubs.
Standing at over 6ft tall, Demetris displayed dominance of his box and helped his side break quickly on the counter with great distribution. Talking about his trial with UK Football Trials, he said: "It was a very good experience to train at such a high level, I enjoyed it very much. I met a lot of players there and the coaches were keen to help us improve, as well as putting in lots of effort after the trial to help send us to a club." Demetris, originally from Nicosia in Cyprus, added: “I absolutely recommend UK Football Trials to other players. You don't only have a chance to prove that you can move to the next level, but you also have the chance to learn what to work on and which areas of the game are your drawbacks. You improve even if you aren't spotted."
