Yeovil Head Of Recruitment Gives Report On 19 Year Old Scouted At Our Trials

Great news as Peter Johnson, Chief Scout of Yeovil Town FC (brother of manager Gary) came to our football trials in London and selected a 19 year old player who is going in for Pre Season Training with the chance to sign a pro contract with the club.
We interviewed Gary who had the following report for us: "It was a great opportunity for me to see lots of footballers from Europe and around the world of all ages. A player that really caught my eye immediately was a 19 year old who has come into the game late due to furthering his education - but looks like he has a real chance. I have invited him in for pre season training and have high hopes he will gain a contract with us...

Great news for 19 year old Ferdinand Takyi as he is scouted from our latest London Trial in April. A great athlete who plays attacking midfield and is confident on the right, left or centre! Our May trials are approaching soon - starting with an amazing opportunity to play at Premier League Team Stoke City's Britannia Stadium! Players will experience what it's like to be a premiership footballer with access to players changing rooms, the tunnel, media interview area and then playing on the pitch!
There are just 2 spaces left on the trial for players aged 10-14 and 1 spaces for the Goal Keepers. We then go to Manchester on May 26th where 3 players in April have since been on trial with Premier League clubs...

Six of the UK Football Trials team have just returned from a superb 8 day trip to Athens and Larissa. The team included coaches Kevin Kent, Billy Stewart, Steve Johnson, FIFA Agent for UK Football Trials Tony Awor and Stoke City National Scout Justin Goodchild.
Over the 6 days of trials, 270 players were put through their paces to identify players that could be sent to the UK Pro Clubs for further opportunities. Lampros Lionas of UK Trials Hellas organised the excellent venues and even a surprise guest visit from the National Coach of Greece who attended for a day in Athens after returning from the World Cup...
